Are dogs allowed on Ferry beach in Scarborough?
From sunrise to 9:00 AM Dogs are allowed off-leash under voice control, with leash in hand in the non-restricted area. In the evening from 5:00 PM to sunset Dogs must be on-leash in the non-restricted area.

Scarborough has much more for you to enjoy with your pooch than just beaches anyway. The North Bay Heritage Railway welcomes furry friends aboard and they travel for free too which is a bonus. Scarborough Castle, run by English Heritage is also dog friendly and well worth a visit.

In the summer months, dogs can run off leash (under voice control) in the off-season, October 1 through April 30, from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. Between May 1 and September 30, dogs are not allowed on the beach except between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 am and 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

Woodbine beach is one of my favourite places to bring the dogs. This dog-friendly park runs a long distance with vast green space and a gorgeous beach. You can walk along the beach or the boardwalk in the summer and admire the lovely trees and sandy beach.

The North Bay Beach is Scarborough’s Blue Flag beach, meaning it is one of the best in Europe for cleanliness both on the sand and in the water, facilities and safety. Unlike South Bay, most of the North Bay Beach is away from the road, with the chalet-lined promenade running from ‘the corner’ to the Sealife Centre.

The only off-leash Redcliffe dog beach on the peninsula is Queens Beach, a 600-metre stretch of sand between Scarborough Beach in the north and Osbourne Point in the south. This beach becomes an off-leash beach before 8 am and after 4 pm daily (as part of a trial period).
Is Scarborough Market Hall dog-friendly?
