Croxteth Park Farm is a traditional working Victorian Farm set within the grounds of Croxteth Hall and Country Park and was formally owned by the late Lord Sefton’s estate. Our Farm houses many different species and rare breeds of farm livestock. It has been managed by NSC since 2014.
When was Croxteth Park estate built?
From the 16th century the Catholic Molyneux family were rivals to the Stanley Earls of Derby for the control of Liverpool. They lived originally in Sefton but in 1575 Sir Richard Molyneux built a new house at Croxteth. Remnants of this building can be seen embedded in the south wing.
