Are dogs allowed off lead in Poole Park?
Yes, Poole Park is dog friendly and there are designated off lead areas. There is a mixture of woodland and parkland for your four-legged friend to explore. The walk around the park is approximately 1 mile. Dogs are not permitted in the fenced children’s play areas.

Can you walk dogs at Sandbanks?

From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on Sandbanks main beach and must be kept on a lead on the promenade and paths. Remember to pick up after your dog.

We welcome dogs all year round, but to make sure everyone enjoys themselves, please keep your dog on a lead of 2m or less between 1 May and 30 September. From 1 October to 30 April dogs can be walked on any beach off the lead but please respect others – see doggie do’s, below.
