Are dogs allowed at Haddon Hall?

We adore dogs at Haddon Hall, but unfortunately cannot allow them into the Hall, gardens or grounds, aside from guide and support dogs. We are able to provide bowls of water for your dog in the car park, and welcome you to take a stroll on the public footpaths opposite the Hall.
Can dogs go into Chatsworth Gardens?
We welcome well-behaved dogs throughout the garden and park, however as there is wildlife and livestock roaming in these areas, please do keep them on lead at all times. Apart from assistance dogs, due to the fragile nature of some of the items on display, dogs are not allowed in the house.
Can dogs go in Blue John Cavern?
We love dogs! All well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in the visitors’ area and cavern.
Can dogs go to Matlock Farm?
Please note, due to the close contact with our animals, we cannot allow dogs into the farm park. We can permit guide dogs, however. Closest Train Stations: Matlock or Chesterfield.
Can I bring my dog to Garden of the Gods?
Off-leash area is south of Gateway Road (main entrance to Garden of the Gods Park), west of 30th Street and east of Rock Ledge Ranch Historic site. Dogs under voice command may be off leash between the signs posted on the trail. Dogs allowed in Garden of the Gods Park if on leash (up to 6-ft).
Can you take dogs to Chatsworth Farm Shop?
10. Are dogs allowed at Chatsworth? Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the garden and park, and assistance dogs are allowed in the house and farmyard as well.
Can dogs go Monsal Trail?
My dogs love just going along the the Monsal Trail from Hassop station: there are so many other dogs on there to meet and sniff! Obviously you can make this as long or short as you like, as you just turn around and come back again!

All we ask is that your dog is kept on a short lead. We are unable to allow dogs in the House, Bird Garden, Farm Experience, the Adventure Playground, Woodland Wonderland and indoor areas of the cafe, but the rest of the 100 acre site is yours to enjoy!
