How long would you recommend for a visit? Because Eden’s plants and exhibits change throughout the seasons and year on year, you could spend a good three to four hours visiting, even if you’ve been before.

What should I bring to the Eden Project?
As there is much to explore outdoors, we recommend a coat or umbrella and comfortable clothes to fully enjoy your visit. Eat at quieter times: The delicious food available on site is really popular, especially on rainy days, so – if you can – visit our cafés before or after lunchtime.

Is the Eden Project Worth the money?
This incredible attraction is home to the world’s largest rainforest in captivity with steamy jungles and waterfalls as well as cutting-edge architecture and buildings. However, we don’t think The Eden Project is worth visiting if you are on a tight budget, it’s expensive and only lasts 3 – 4 hours.
Is it warm inside the Eden Project?
How hot is it inside the Eden Project? Even on a chilly Cornish morning, the Eden Project can be warm! As you’d expect, the tropical biodome in particular can reach temperatures of up to 35°C! It’s therefore recommended you dress in layers that can be easily added and removed.
Should I wear shorts to the Eden Project?
Was not prepared for just how hot it would be in the domes, jeans and walking boots not ideal. However we spent a lovely couple of hours there.
Are there toilets at the Eden Project?
All toilets on site are easily accessible and offer accessible facilities. They are located in Banana coach park, the Visitor Centre (on the left as you come in), The Core and in the Link Building between the Biomes.
Can I take my own food to the Eden Project?
It is quite a walk from the car parks, It’s a one way system when you walk around the Eden Project so I would take your lunch with you as there is a seated area where you can eat. Can you take drinks into Eden Project?
Bars. Please note that bringing your own alcohol is not permitted. Drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in glasses and cans are also not allowed. Stainless steel bottles (in the style of Chilly’s bottles) will also not be allowed in the Arena.
Can I take food and drink into Eden Park?
Patrons are welcome to bring small amounts of non-commercially produced food intended for the patron’s personal consumption.
Which is better Eden Project or Lost gardens of Heligan?
Access is good but I would argue not as good as the Eden Project. In a nutshell , whilst both venues were great, for me the Lost Gardens came out well on top blending value for money with beauty and tranquility perfectly.
How much walking is the Eden Project?

The indoor Biomes and the gardens outside cover roughly 30 acres and take about four hours to explore. The site is brimming with facilities to make your visit easy and enjoyable.
What is the best time of year to visit the Eden Project?
For me, winter is an ideal time to visit Cornwall as it’s quieter and as I’ve mentioned before, the Eden Project is mostly indoors so perfect for those days where the weather’s not great. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling inspired and wanting to learn and do more to help our planet.
Are there birds inside the Eden Project?
The biomes were designed by the same architects as Waterloo International Station. There are over 1,000 varieties of plants in each biome. Scampering around the rainforest floor are roul-roul partridges and Sulawesi white-eye birds.
What should I wear to the Eden Project in winter?
The temperature varies between 18–35°C so you’ll want to wear something fairly cool. In the winter months we recommend carrying your jacket rather than wearing it inside this biome. Our top tip to beat the temperature has to be grabbing one of the Eden Project’s famous ice creams before you head in.
Can you swim at Eden Project?
Head down to the bay and there will be a tidal swimming pool open to guests.
