Can you take disposable BBQ to Leeds?
While it is perfectly legal to have BBQs on some beaches, a lot of local councils are now implementing their own rules that mean you cannot use disposable BBQs. Having a single-use disposable BBQ on beaches where they are prohibited could see you landing a £100 fine and it being confiscated.
What can I bring to Leeds Fest?
Most important things to pack
- Your festival ticket. I’m not sure there’s a worse feeling than turning up at Leeds Festival after an eight-hour journey to realise you’ve left your ticket at home.
- Bank cards and cash.
- Tent.
- Sleeping bag.
- Self-inflating roll mat.
- A proper rucksack.
- Reusable water bottles.
- A sturdy trolley.
Can you have fires at Leeds Fest?
Fires. Small bonfires (no larger than knee height) are permitted within the campsites, excluding the campervan area. All bonfires will be monitored closely by stewards and security and instruction must be adhered to if requested to extinguish the fire.
Can you take gas cookers to Leeds Fest?

Greenheat Base Camp Cookers, solid fuel and firelighter stoves, disposable BBQs and Trangia spirit burners are all permitted for use on the campsite at Leeds Festival, so be sure to take along some food you can easily whip up at your base.

What bin does a disposable BBQ go in?
Do not dispose of them in the recycling bin, as they cannot be recycled. Once completely cold, they should be placed in the household waste bin. Care should be taken when using disposable BBQs in the countryside. Never leave them unattended and make sure they are fully out and have gone completely cold after use.
Can I take food to Leeds Fest?
Only food for personal consumption may be brought into the Arena. We only allow sealed soft drinks under 500ml, as well as empty reusable water bottles of any size into the Arena. Please refill your empty bottles at the water points inside the Arena for free.
Can you take a bottle of water into Leeds Arena?
Food and drinks cannot be brought into the venue unfortunately.
Are you allowed to take alcohol to Leeds Fest?

Is there sniffer dogs at Leeds Fest?
We put a lot of time and effort on briefing and training and run emergency exercises. We also have a team of sniffer dogs working around the clock.
Can you sleep in the car Leeds Fest?
No vehicles are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time. The designated campervan/caravan area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles. We do not permit sleeping in cars and security will ask you to leave the car park.
Can you vape in Leeds Arena?
The venue operates a no smoking policy. It is illegal to smoke anywhere in the Leeds Arena and anyone smoking will be asked to leave with no re-entry. The unauthorised use of photographic equipment is prohibited / tapes or films may be destroyed.
Can you take gas stove to festivals?
Don’t bring your barbecue or stove into the tent even after you have finished cooking and the barbecue is cooling down as it can still release harmful carbon monoxide that you definitely don’t want to be inhaling. It’s always best to leave barbecues outside, whether you’re cooking on them or not.
How much drink can you take to Leeds Fest?
You are allowed to bring soft drinks/water with you (of not more than 500ml per bottle), as long as these are unopened/sealed when you arrive. Anything considered open will be confiscated on the gate.
Can you take paracetamol to a festival?
Make sure to add plenty of pain relief to your festival first aid kit to keep aches and pains at bay. This includes: Ibuprofen or paracetamol.
Can you put disposable BBQs in the bin?
Disposable barbecues aren’t recyclable. Making sure they are completely cool first, they should be placed in the residual waste bin (your black wheelie bin) or transported to a Recycling and household waste site for disposal.
Where can I use a disposable BBQ UK?
