Is UCI a dry campus?
UC Irvine is designated a drug-free environment, and only under certain conditions is the consumption of alcohol permitted. In keeping with its educational mission, the University assumes the responsibility to inform the UCI community about alcohol and substance abuse.
Are you allowed to walk around University campuses?
In the U.S., almost all universities are open to the public. The only common restriction is that many college libraries are restricted to student use only at certain times of the day, week, or semester. Public (State) universities are public property, so you can walk into those campuses.
Can I tour UCLA campus?

General Campus Tour
The UCSB Visitor Center offers guided walking tours that are approximately 90 minutes long. Reservations are required for the campus walking tours.

Does UC Irvine have a dress code?
Does UCI have a dress code? ^ There is no stated dress code for the University, however attire should be appropriate and reasonable for a work environment. Departments may have their own dress codes, developed in consultation with Human Resources, that take into account appropriateness for public contact, safety, etc.
Is alcohol allowed on UC campuses?
Can alcohol be served anywhere on campus? No. Alcohol may only be served in the location specified on the approved UC Merced Permit to Serve Alcoholic Beverages and only after approval of a facilities use request or agreement.
What are you not allowed in uni halls?
You must not bring certain items, like irons or kettles, to University accommodation because of our health, safety and fire guidance.

Can you just walk in a university lecture?
If you’re a student, it’s very easy to walk in and attend a class. I would recommend reaching out to the professor and ask for permission, usually professors are nice about it especially if they know its a class that’s not available for your major or a popular class in general.
