Can I look around York University campus?

York holds regularly-scheduled campus tours with a student ambassador to explore campus grounds and walk through buildings and program facilities. We also host an open house for students interested in York and graduate studies in October.

All community members and visitors are required to pay for parking while on campus. You may either purchase a parking permit or pay the daily fee at our visitor lots or garages. With approximately 9200 parking spaces , the Keele and Glendon campuses have 32 lots and garages.

How do students get around campus?
Walking is always a great alternative to driving a car on a college campus, but if your campus is particularly large, getting to class by foot may not be a good option either. A few other ways to get around on campus include: Using Uber and Lyft. Taking the bus.
Can you have visitors in uni accommodation?
Yes, students are allowed visitors and guests. However they must have the agreement of their flatmates before having a guest stay over for periods of more than one night.
What are you not allowed in uni halls?
You must not bring certain items, like irons or kettles, to University accommodation because of our health, safety and fire guidance.
