The London Eye is one of London’s most popular attractions and at peak times queues are lengthy. If you just turn up on the day you will pay more for your ticket and how long you will have to wait will depend on when the next availability is and the ticket type you select.
Do London Dungeons ask ID?
To collect your tickets for The London Dungeon, you will need the booking reference number of your order, the payment card used and some photo ID.
Do we need tickets to the London Eye?
Anyone wishing to visit will need to pre-book a ticket in advance, including multi-attraction tickets, flexi ticket holders and anyone with a promotional voucher.
What passes as ID in the UK?

We do not operate a dress code for visiting the London Eye, however we would recommend dressing accordingly for the weather.
Do you need ID for the Shard?
Except for the entrance lobby, gift shop and the booking hall, Visitors are only permitted to enter The View if they are in possession of a valid ticket. Visitors may be required to provide a proof of identification or, where applicable, the credit card used for the booking of such tickets.
Is there a toilet in London Dungeon?
Yes, we have toilets. They are located before your tour begins, just after you have had your photo taken.

Is the London Eye expensive?

How early should I get to the London Eye?
We advise you arrive around 30 minutes before your Standard or Fast Track experience during off-peak periods. If you are visiting us during a peak period, we advise you allow more time, as the attraction will be busier.
Can I use an out of date passport as ID UK?
We can only accept a passport that is valid and within its expiry date. This would be the same for any Identification documents. All would need to be within their expiry dates.
What ID can I use if I don’t have a passport or driving licence UK?
You can use a UK birth, adoption or naturalisation certificate, but you must send it with one of the following: National Insurance card, or a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions or HM Revenue and Customs showing your National Insurance number – find your National Insurance number if you’ve lost it.
Can I use expired passport as ID?
Officially it’s not valid because it’s out of date, etc. Unofficially, depends on who’s looking at it. Arguing that “I’m still the same person” means nothing, because the photo could’ve been changed, etc.
Is birth certificate a valid ID?
Yes. Sometimes a birth certificate or marriage certificate from your local civil registrar is required if the prints on your PSA certificate are not legible.
What can I use instead of photo ID?
If you lack a photo ID, you may still be able to identify yourself using documents referred to as “secondary IDs”. These are documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, adoption certificates, or name change certificates.
