What can I bring on the London Eye?
The following items are permitted on the London Eye:
- Briefcases.
- Laptops.
- Small day size rucksacks and bags (maximum size 18″ x 13″ x 8″ or 46cm x 33cm x 20cm)
- Baby bags.
- Buggies and pushchairs (must be folded down before joining the boarding queue)
- Drinking water.
Can I take my bag on London Eye?
Bags and belongings will be searched [and screened] before being allowed in. This is to ensure prohibited items are not brought into the London Eye. We also carry out enhanced searches where you will be asked to remove all items from your pocket and place them in the trays provided.
How long do you sit on the London Eye for?

30 minutes up high in one of our 32 pods. 360° moving views from the heart of the city. Get up close to London’s iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. You can even see as far as Windsor Castle on a clear day!
Can I take buggy on London Eye?
Yes. A pushchair/buggy can come with you onto the London Eye but it must remain completely closed/folded throughout the experience, including on the entrance and exit ramps.

Do you need to arrive early for the London Eye?
We advise you arrive around 30 minutes before your Standard or Fast Track experience during off-peak periods. If you are visiting us during a peak period, we advise you allow more time, as the attraction will be busier.
Do you have to wear masks on the London Eye?
Do I need to wear a face covering in your attraction? We recommend guests continue to wear face coverings throughout our attractions, unless you are exempt.
What do you wear to the London Eye?
We do not operate a dress code for visiting the London Eye, however we would recommend dressing accordingly for the weather.

Avoid peak times
The London Eye is busiest between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the UK school holidays, and is quieter at the beginning and end of their opening hours, which vary throughout the year.

We have Male, Female and Accessible toilet facilities available in London Eye Ticket Office. Baby Change facilities are also available. Please note there are no toilet facilities on-board the London Eye itself.

The early London Eye opening times from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM has a lot of crowds, so it’s best recommended to go right when the London Eye opens or just before it closes.
Can you just turn up and go on the London Eye?

The London Eye is one of London’s most popular attractions and at peak times queues are lengthy. If you just turn up on the day you will pay more for your ticket and how long you will have to wait will depend on when the next availability is and the ticket type you select.

In line with the lifting of legal restrictions our Private Pods are available for groups of up to 25 people.

Can I just have a drink at the shard?
Are we allowed to bring food or drink? Only food and drink purchased within The View from The Shard is permitted in our viewing gallery. Hot and cold drinks as well as snacks as available to purchase on Level 69 and the open air Skydeck on Level 72.
Can you take food and drink into the Tower of London?
To help protect our palace, food and drink is not allowed within the confines of any of the buildings except in designated areas.
Does London Eye Take 2 for 1?
We accept 2 for 1 vouchers that state they can be used for our attraction, providing they are still valid and you have the physical copy of the voucher, if required.
Can you take pictures on the London Eye?
Cameras are permitted onto the London Eye, however recording devices and tripods are not. If you are looking to capture promotional footage, you must get express permission from our Duty Managers before filming.
