Visitors are welcome to take photographs within most areas of the Tower of London. For religious or security reasons, photography is not allowed in the following areas: The Jewel House.
Are you allowed to take photos of the crown jewels?
Please keep in mind that you will not be able to take any photographs while visiting the Crown Jewels. Cameras are strictly forbidden and visitors are not allowed to take pictures. Be aware that guards may try to stop you if any attempt is made to use a camera or snap a shot of this exhibit.

Can I take a backpack into Tower of London?
Please note that we are unable to offer bag storage or a cloakroom on site, but you will be able to take your belongings with you. We only allow bags with a size 45cm x 20cm x 25cm. Any larger items will not be allowed in the Bridge.
Can I take a pictures with a royal guards?
You’re definitely welcome to have your picture taken with the Guards. They’re used to it and it won’t be an issue. Just remember they’re working. Another favourite (with women especially) is to find a motorcycle policeman on a break and get photographed astride the bike with him next to you.
Can you take a picture with a royal?

You can stand next to them for a picture, but make no mistake, they will react if you try to fool around with them.
