Does university of London accept foundation?
The International Foundation Programme prepares you with the skills, knowledge, and experience you need to gain direct entry to undergraduate degrees. The programme’s world-class teaching is recognised globally. The IFP is one of the most widely accepted foundation programmes in the world.
What grades do you need for Kings?
Undertaken a minimum of 1 year of university level study (by the time you start at King’s) A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale; or its equivalent (you can use the PG entry requirement scale . Does UCL accept foundation year?
All applications received by UCL for a foundation year through UCAS (Year 0 entry) will automatically be considered for year 1 entry.
Does Imperial accept foundation years?
Imperial does not offer its own Foundation Year. However, the vast majority of Imperial departments accept students from the following two UK Foundation courses: UCL UPCSE: the University Preparatory Certificate for Science and Engineering.

Is foundation year worth it in UK?
A foundation year gives you the opportunity to get an understanding of your field of interest before progressing to the full three-year degree programme. As well as subject knowledge, you’ll get used to the HE context and gain the skills needed for higher level study.
Does Oxford accept foundation year?

Competition is very strong for places at Oxford. Although a foundation year course may be accepted in certain circumstances, we recommend taking different qualifications in order to make the strongest application. This is especially true if your chosen course has specific subject requirements.
Do King’s accept lower grades?
Yes, and even without doing A levels. As long as you’ve got good alternative qualifications of equivalent standard and status, from wherever in the world you happen to live, then there’s nothing magic about GCSEs and A levels; they’re just the usual qualifications for UK students.
Can I transfer university after a foundation year?
Typically, a foundation year leads straight on to degree study with the same university. However, it is usually possible to transfer to a different uni once you have completed your foundation year.
Do King’s College look at GCSE?
Some of our undergraduate programmes have GCSE requirements, which can be found on the Online Prospectus. To be eligible for a programme, these GCSE requirements must still be met. Some of our undergraduate programmes also have A-level (or equivalent) subject requirements.
What A level is easiest to get an A in?
The 12 easiest A-Level subjects are Classical Civilisation, Environmental Science, Food Studies, Drama, Geography, Textiles, Film Studies, Sociology, Information Technology (IT), Health and Social Care, Media Studies, and Law.
Can I get into uni with 3 D’s?

Those applicants getting three D grades were increasingly likely to get places – with 80% being successful. Those getting CCC or lower had an 84% success rate.
Does UCL care about GCSEs?
Your GCSEs are an important part of the university application process, but they aren’t quite as important as your more recent study e.g. your A levels or BTECs. All courses at UCL require GCSE passes in English Language and Maths at grade 5 or higher, and some courses may ask for higher grades in these subjects.
Is foundation better than A levels?
Bottom Line: If you want more flexibility in choosing your subjects as well as have a wider option of degrees to choose from, A-Level might be the better choice. If you are sure of the interest and field that you want to pursue and want to dive straight into it, opt for Foundation.
Does Manchester accept foundation?

Is UCL or Imperial better?
While UCL operates across the full academic spectrum, Imperial specializes primarily in science, engineering, management and medicine, and also has a leading business school. So, if your area of interest is one of the arts, humanities or social sciences disciplines, you should probably apply to UCL.
Does Cambridge look at Gcses?
There are no GCSE (or equivalent) requirements for entry to Cambridge. GCSE results are looked at as a performance indicator, but within the context of the performance of the school/college where they were achieved.
