Glamping is all about making your camping experience comfy and luxurious. Electricity, plush blankets, running water, mood lighting, scrumptious meals — all these creature comforts and more are what make glamping an ideal vacation for many.
What are glamping amenities?
Most glamping accommodations include beds, electricity, en-suite bathrooms (with showers), resort-style toiletries, coffeemakers, and sometimes even full kitchens. You can still cook s’mores on the open fire, but usually there’s a restaurant on-site serving more upscale cuisine.

What is Medieval Glamping at Warwick Castle?

Our fully-themed standard Warwick tents sleep up to 4, with a double bed, two single beds and a storage chest. Our King’s tents offer a touch of luxury, with a four-poster bed, two single beds, and an outdoor canopy with table and thrones.

Our Warwick Castle Knight’s provide interactive evening activities outdoors between 6pm and 8pm – you’ll find them in our open air Knight’s Village riverside entertainment area. You’ll be in awe as they showcase their impressive armour and incredible battle skills – and you’ll learn sword skills for yourself!

Perfect for families, Pod 4 and 7 are slightly different in style both are spacious and both are complete with sprung mattress double bed and 2 single foam mattresses covered with leatherette. Don’t forget to bring pillows and duvets. A bottom sheet is provided for the double bed only.

Does glamping include shower?
One of these amenities is bathroom access, which can vary depending on the glamping accommodations you choose to book. In general, most glamping tents do not have toilets inside the tent. However, hosts may choose to install a composting toilet, and luxury glamping units tend to have bathrooms with showers by default.
How often do you empty a camping toilet?

Camping toilets in RVs are usually equipped with an indicator that warns you when the tank is full and needs to be emptied. Keep in mind that you will need to keep it clean, regardless of how full it is, by emptying it about every 3 days. This should be done more frequently in the summer.
Do you have electricity when glamping?
Do the glamping units have electricity and heating? All our glamping units have a power supply suitable for small electric appliances such as phone chargers. The shepherd huts have solar power which provides low wattage lighting. The pods, lodges and shepherd huts also have electric panel heaters.
Are glamping Pods heated?
It’s always wise to rent a glamping pod that has electricity. This way, if the owner doesn’t offer any heating source, you can bring an electrical heater with you. More luxurious glamping pods can be equipped with heated floors, fireplaces, and even saunas.
Do glamping pods get hot?
The good news is that glamping pods are much warmer than tents, yurts and tipis. They’re insulated and a lot of the time they also have heating. Wigwam® camping pods all have heating installed, so you can leave the extra blankets and jumpers at home.
