How early should you get to Leeds Festival?
When to arrive. Those who have purchased an Early Entry Pass are allowed access to the campsites from 2pm on Wednesday, 25th August. As for the rest of you the campsite will open from 3am on Thursday Thursday, 26th August. Try to be as early as you can the good spots get taken very quickly!

What shoes should I wear to Leeds Fest?
Comfortable Footwear – Trainers or a good pair of walking boots will be your most prized possession over the weekend. Do not waste your time with sliders or crocs! Don’t Forget The Wellies – In case of rain you NEED to bring some wellies with you, there’s no way you want to spend your weekend with mud all up your legs.

Can you take a backpack to Leeds Festival?
We strongly advise you do not bring a bag into the Arena as there will be long queues while all bags are searched. If you do wish to bring a bag into the Arena please ensure that it is no bigger than A4 sized 8.27”x11. 69”. There is a limited to one A4 sized bag per person permitted into the Arena.
Can you take food and drink into Leeds Festival?
Only food for personal consumption may be brought into the Arena. We only allow sealed soft drinks under 500ml, as well as empty reusable water bottles of any size into the Arena. Please refill your empty bottles at the water points inside the Arena for free.
Is there sniffer dogs at Leeds Festival?
We work very closely with West Yorkshire Police and members of the security services to ensure our security procedures are up to date and we are following best practice. We put a lot of time and effort on briefing and training and run emergency exercises. We also have a team of sniffer dogs working around the clock.

Can I take alcohol to Leeds Festival?

However, you cannot bring any alcohol into the arena and glass isn’t permitted in the campsites either, so remember to decanter it into plastic bottles. Also remember that if you cannot prove your age, any alcohol you bring in will be confiscated.
How strict is security at Leeds Festival?
Security. We take the security and safety of our festival goers very seriously – it is a real priority. than A4 into the arena. Please be patient while we carry out our security checks and searches, which take place at the campsite gates, the arena entrance and may also happen at any time at any location onsite.

Noise levels are regulated and monitored by our onsite Acoustic Consultants and Environmental Health at Leeds City Council. These are the same timings as 2021. On Friday, Saturday & Sunday, the main entertainment will finish at 11pm.

Can you sleep in your car at Leeds Festival?
No vehicles are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time. The designated campervan/caravan area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles. We do not permit sleeping in cars and security will ask you to leave the car park.
Do you get wristbands at Leeds Fest?
All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry. Wristbands are not transferable between people and are void if cut, removed or tampered with.
