Can you just walk into Cambridge university?
You are very very limited in where you can walk to even see the exteriors and can’t go in to any of the buildings and most don’t let you even walk around outside in the courtyard. While the University itself was disappointing, Cambridge is still worth a visit.
Is getting into Cambridge a big deal?
Getting into the University of Cambridge is extremely difficult. For UK students sitting A level exams, the standard offer is A* A* A. This is out of the range of all but the best students. This is deliberate; the university only wants to teach the very best.
