The Cambridge IGCSE is graded from A* to G. This grading scale has been used for almost 30 years and offers a good level of differentiation between student’s performance.

What percentage is B in Cambridge?

How Cambridge exams are marked?
0–5 marks are given for each of the following criteria: Content; Communicative Achievement; Organisation; and Language. Whole marks only are awarded; there are no half marks given. Marks for each of the criteria are combined to give 20 possible marks for each question. There are 40 possible marks for the whole paper.
Does Cambridge accept a * a * b?

Is 78 a good mark in university UK?
Scores above 70% are classed as “First”, so you should be very excited to get a grade in that range. It is rare for students to achieve grades higher than 90%, though this can happen.

How many A * Do you need for Cambridge?
Entry requirements
Certain grades may be required at Higher Level. Cambridge usually requires A*A*A for most sciences courses and A*AA for arts courses or 40–42 in the IB, including core points, with 776 at Higher Level. AAA is usually required at Advanced Higher grade, for students in Scotland.
Can you get into Oxford with B’s?
Do you mean ALL Bs and Cs for GCSE, or a few? I currently have an offer for Oxford despite having two Bs at GCSE, so it’s certainly possible to get in with a few Bs. For my course they actually only looked at your top 8 GCSEs I think, so a few Bs wouldn’t even hold you back never mind kill your application.
Can you get into Cambridge with 3 A stars?
Our typical offers are based on students taking three A Levels together in Year 13, and most Cambridge applicants are studying three or four A Level subjects in Years 12 and 13. This is usually sufficient to show breadth of interests and ability to manage a range of differing academic tasks.
Can you go to Oxford with a * AB?
You don’t have any chance. Oxbridge’s standard entry requirement for all programmes is A*AA. They are not like other unis where it’s at the discretion of the department. Anyone without A*AA is considered to not be Oxbridge material in their eyes.
How hard is it to get a 1st at Cambridge?
Cambridge normalizes the scores for undergraduate students. Approximately, top 30% of the students get a 1st.
