Is Jesus College open to visitors?
We encourage you to attend an Open Day, where current students are on hand to answer questions and offer guided tours. If you can’t make an Open Day, we are happy to welcome prospective students for an independent tour of Jesus College.

Is Cambridge University open for visitors?
Opening times: Open all year round. Tourist groups above the size of a family can visit the College’s courts and gardens 2–5pm. The Wren Chapel is open 9am–6pm.

There are lots of Colleges to visit in Cambridge; thirty-one to be exact. Naturally, as a visitor to Cambridge you will want to visit at least one of these iconic sites, but choosing which ones to visit is harder than the entrance exams!
Is Trinity College Cambridge open to public?
College Grounds
Currently the courts including Great Court are not open to the public. However, the public can access ‘The Backs’ – the College grounds beside the River Cam – when these are open: normally 9am-5.30pm, but please note they may be closed for special events.

Can you just walk into Cambridge University?
You are very very limited in where you can walk to even see the exteriors and can’t go in to any of the buildings and most don’t let you even walk around outside in the courtyard. While the University itself was disappointing, Cambridge is still worth a visit.
Can anyone walk into a university UK?
Public (State) universities are public property, so you can walk into those campuses. In some cases, with appropriate ID, you might even be able to use the facilities such as the Library. In some larger campuses (such as mine), people routinely use campus roads to get to another destination.
Can you just visit universities?
If you want to get a more realistic look at what a university is like, many universities will be happy to let you come and look around and speak to staff/students during term time (just make sure you book in advance).
Are Cambridge colleges open to the public?
It also has a historic sun dial and some of the oldest courts in Cambridge. It is only £5 to look around this College and much of it is open to the public.
Can you visit Oxford colleges at the moment?
Alumni, prospective students and Bodleian Card holders are welcome to visit the College for free between 14:00 and 17:00 provided the College is open. We recommend calling in advance to check the College is open and whether there will be restrictions on where you can visit. The College is currently closed to tourists.
How many Muslims go to Oxford?
They have been living there for decades. Oxford is a small college town, but it has nearly 7000 Muslims, majority of whom are of South Asian origin.
Can you go to Cambridge for free?
The Cambridge Bursary Scheme offers Home fee status students studying for their first undergraduate degree non-repayable bursaries to help with living costs. These bursaries are offered in addition to any government financial support you might receive. The value of each bursary is dependent on household income.
Can you eat at other Cambridge colleges?
Students and visitors at Cambridge University can sometimes use the canteen of a college or department other than their own, but the various policies are rarely on public display (let alone online), so I’m posting this data from personal experience in the hope that it’s useful.
Is St Johns College Cambridge open to the public?
Opening times for other visitors (see above): 10am-5pm. Entry into St John’s College is via the Great Gate which is located in St John’s Street, Cambridge, CB2 1TP.

Can you visit Trinity College for free?
If it is not your cup of tea, skip them and explore the Trinity College Dublin at your own pace, free of charge. Trinity College Library and its exhibits are open to visit seven days a week. You can purchase tickets online.
