Can you swim at Blackpool Sands?
Swimming can take place at the waters edge rather than yards out, meaning parents are in easy reach of their children. Paddling can be supervised close to where parents are sitting as the tide line does not vary much during the day. Shingle sand is easily brushed off before you go home.
Can you take dogs on Slapton Sands?
If you want to bring the dog, you’ll be pleased to hear that Slapton Sands is a dog-friendly beach, allowing dogs throughout the year. Many visitors come to observe wildlife in the Nature Reserve.

Parking at one of Devon’s most stunning beaches has seen a hefty price increase in just one year. Visitors to Blackpool Sands near Dartmouth, will now have to pay £9 to park for the whole day, compared to £6 last season.

Is Blackpool Tower dog friendly?
Disability Awareness Dogs are welcome at the TBT, but must be kept under close control at all times. No other dogs or pets of any other kind are allowed in the building. Certain premises within The Blackpool Tower are authorised to sell alcohol in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003.
