Can dogs walk in botanic Gardens?
The Botanic Gardens is a popular place for scenic dog walks, surrounded by lush greenery. Canine friends are not allowed off-leash but can explore the extensive gardens with the fam before a well-earned big bowl of water at pup-friendly Bee’s Knees at the Garage (humans can have coffee if they prefer).

Are the botanical gardens free in Birmingham?

Can dogs visit the arboretum?
Pets must be leashed at all times and must be controlled so that they do not urinate on, defecate in, or enter garden beds. Owners must clean up after their pets. Pets are not allowed in the Administration Building or in the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum.

Can we bring dog to zoo?

Are dogs allowed at the Birmingham Zoo?
No pets inside the Zoo only service dogs are permitted.
The Zoo does not offer pet boarding facilities. We allow trained service dogs.
Is bullring dog friendly?
The policy within the Bullring is that all dogs must be either carried or fit in a bag. However you can walk dogs within Grand Central shopping centre which is situated above New Street train station.

2.30pm has been suggested as a departure time, as many groups like to return for their normal finishing time, but you are welcome to stay at the Gardens for as long as you want.

Can I bring a picnic into Birmingham Botanical Gardens? Yes, visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic to the Gardens. We just ask for all rubbish to be taken with visitors when they leave. We also offer a selection of hot and cold food and drinks at the Pavilion Tearooms.

For the safety of our animals and yours, NO animals are allowed in the Safari Village nor the Wildlife Safari drive thru. Wildlife Safari offers free onsite (unsupervised) kennels for pets and sells locks for the kennels for a $5 fee at guest services, inside of the gift shop.
