How do you pay for parking at Sunderland Eye Infirmary?
We operate a pay on exit system across our Trust sites using number plate recognition technology. Car parking spaces are limited and we would recommend that you leave yourself plenty of time to find a parking space before you visit us, especially on our hospital sites.

You’ll be asked to sign a self discharge form and taken off the screen. It’s not a remote service, and if you are well enough that you are leaving then you shouldn’t expect the doctor to spend their time calling you.
Can you walk into the eye hospital?
If you have an eye emergency you can walk into the hospital and present yourself to reception where you will be seen by a specialist triage nurse and the urgency of the situation is assessed. You will then see an eye doctor.
Can you ignore private parking tickets UK?

Does parking eye use bailiffs?
A private parking operator can’t instruct bailiffs to recover the amount owed. However, the operator can chase you for payment through the County Court. They can apply for a County Court Judgement (CCJ) to be issued against you.
