Can I take my dog on a punt?
During the tour you will see seven colleges, nine bridges and some of the most iconic sights that Cambridge offers, so sit back and relax whilst your tour guide does all the work. A punt boat can hold up to a maximum of 12 people however this does not include your canine friends.
Where are dogs allowed in Oxford?

Can dogs go on Cambridge punts?
Choose between a punting tour or hire your own punt for your adventure. Note that when joining shared services, we ask that you await a tour where other customers are happy to have your pet on-board. Premier League and English Football League clubs do not allow dogs in their grounds, but lower down the pyramid, plenty of clubs are more welcoming. In fact, there is even a Non-League Dogs Day, where lower league supporters are encouraged to bring their pets along to a game.
Can I bring my puppy to a soccer game?
It must be on a leash, must remain AT LEAST 15 feet from the field at all times (NEVER to be on the field), controlled by someone that can restrict its movements (ie, not a child), and any waste must be cleaned up and taken with you. We prefer that you would NOT bring your pet to any soccer fields.
Can you bring pets to Oxford University?
Check the rules about any pets you might want to bring as early as possible, to make sure that you can meet any requirements regarding microchipping, vaccinations, pet passports, and quarantine. Remembering comfort when deciding what to wear on a punting tour is vital. During the tour, you will spend all of your time sitting down – 50 minutes in fact. Therefore, you should wear comfortable and breathable clothing. T-shirts, light sweaters, shorts or light trousers are excellent options especially in summer.

There is no obligation to tip what-so-ever, however if you’ve enjoyed yourself it is common to tip. How difficult is it to go on a punting tour? If you can sit on the floor and get back up again (even with a bit of help) then you will be just fine.
