Standard parking – 5 – 10 minute walk to the main castle entrance. All coaches, minibuses and motorhomes should be parked in the Stratford Road Car Park only.
Can you walk around Warwick Castle for free?
Sadly no. The castle and grounds are surrounded by their on site accommodation the Knights lodges and the car parks which the main car park for daily visitors is a 15 min walk from the castle entrance. You can’t get into the actual castle grounds without bypassing the main ticket entrance.

Our Castle Dungeon is located within Warwick Castle and is a secondary, additional attraction to our Warwick Castle and Grounds admission ticket and therefore entry for the Dungeon can only be purchase in conjunction with a Warwick Castle Entry ticket.
How do you get into castle lights?
You DO NOT have to wash your face in the Lightkeeper temple to enter the Castle Light. The only requirement to pass the barrier is to enter The Depths without dying– which means going into a Whirlpool instead of drowning.

The Nighttime Lights shows typically start around 7:15 pm (8:15 after the Daylight Savings change), though this can be bumped up to as early as 6:45, and they last for approximately five minutes.
