Can you smoke in O2 Academy?
The O2 is a no smoking venue. The smoking area is just outside The O2’s main entrance. Remember, if you’re coming to an event at the arena, indigo or Building Six, you can’t leave and re-enter once you’ve gone through ticket checking. E-cigarettes can be used anywhere in The O2 except the performance spaces.
Do they check ID at The O2?
Please note that for some events at The O2, artists require that names are printed on tickets, and that photo ID and the payment card must also be presented at the venue entrance in order to guarantee entry to the event.
Do cinemas ask for ID for an 18?
Our staff are legally required to ask for proof that you are old enough to watch an age restricted film if they have any doubt. In order to prove your age we require official I.D. that includes a photo and date of birth such as a passport or driver’s license. (We accept photocopies of passports.
Are The O2 strict on age?
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Children under 16 cannot enter the standing area.
Can you vape in O2?
Yes! E-cigarettes can be used along the Suite concourses and at the back of the Suites. They cannot be used towards the front of the Suite near the balcony seating area.

You will be permitted to take small bags and handbags in with you. One bag is allowed per person. We class small bags as no larger than A4 size or standard handbags. Backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags and large tote bags are NOT permitted inside the arena.
Is climbing The O2 hard?
It is fairly easy to climb up at the O2 and needs a moderate level of fitness.
Does O2 Academy take cash?
Our bars no longer accept cash, so it’s contactless or card payments only for bars and cloakrooms please. You can still buy merchandise with cash or card.
Can you vape in the Air Force Academy?
Member. DoD treats vaping (or other electronic nicotine delivery systems) as a tobacco product. Tobacco products cannot be used indoors. They can be used only in outdoor areas specifically designated for tobacco use.
Can you smoke in uniform?
The regulation states there should be no eating, drinking, smoking or talking on a cell phone while walking in uniform. Most Soldiers only seem to know the part about smoking. This can lead to embarrassing situations.
Can you take your own snacks to The O2?

Food and drink cannot be brought into the venue. Bottle tops will be removed from all bottles purchased from concourse outlets or bars inside The O2 arena. The O2 arena does not have cloakroom facilities.

You’ll need to take a selfie and scan an ID document (e.g. passport, driving licence, national ID cards) in order to create your digital ID and get your verified ‘Age card’.
Do cinemas actually check age?
We always follow national rules about film ratings, and if you’re lucky enough to be looking younger than the film’s rating, we’ll have to ask to see some ID. Another reason you could be asked for ID is to make sure you’re getting the right ticket for your film. Our ticket types can be found here.
Can a 15 year old get into a 18 movie?
No one younger than 18 can go and see an 18 rated film in the cinema. No one younger than 18 may rent or buy an 18 rated video, DVD or download.
