How much is a canoe licence UK?
You can buy a licence for your canoe through our licensing website. Prices range from around £20 for a week’s licence on a river only to around £122 for 30-day ‘Explorer’ licence on a canal or river (prices as of April 2022), which allows you to spread out your use across the year.

The river is tidal but flows and ranges are less severe between Oulton Dyke and Geldeston, please see tide tables.

The River Waveney rises at Redgrave Fen and is navigable to hire craft for 22 miles from Geldeston Lock to Breydon Water where it flows into the River Yare.
