All we ask is that your dog is kept on a short lead. We are unable to allow dogs in the House, Bird Garden, Farm Experience, the Adventure Playground, Woodland Wonderland and indoor areas of the cafe, but the rest of the 100 acre site is yours to enjoy!
Is Harewood House grounds free?
It is a huge estate of about 1,000 acres and luckily for us has a circular public footpath around the grounds. The estate has its own bird gardens and deer farm, but you don’t have to pay the £15 per person entry fee for this walk.
Are dogs allowed at Tropical World Leeds?
We don’t allow dogs into Tropical World due to the free flight birds, animal welfare and the risks this poses. If you have any additional access requirements please phone us on 0113 237 0754 at least half an hour before you plan to visit to discuss them.

No, for most of the season Members do not need to pre-book. However during very busy times you will need to pre-book, such as Make it Harewood, the Great British Food Festival, and Christmas. We will give you plenty of notice for these times.
