Do they check ID at Reading festival?
Anyone 15 and under must be accompanied by a ticket holder over 18 years old at all times. Children under 13 years are admitted free. ID may be required upon entry to the event. Please bring ID if you look under 21 years old and remember that legally there is no automatic right to be served alcohol.
Can reading tickets be resold?
Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry at a wristband exchange. No re-admission on tickets. Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, transferred or resold. Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event.
How do Reading festival day tickets work?

Day Ticket holders may only enter the festival via the Green Day Gate and continue through Green into to the arena. 25. There is no readmission on a Day Ticket so once day ticket holders have exchanged their ticket for a wristband, they cannot leave the site and re-enter.
Why is Ticketmaster not letting me transfer tickets?
Could be one of these reasons: The venue doesn’t offer Ticket Transfer yet (we’re working on that) The artist or venue turned Ticket Transfer off for that event/section. The event was canceled (ticket buyers get automatic refunds)
Can someone else use my Reading Festival ticket?

Can you sleep in your car at Reading Festival?
The designated campervan/caravan area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles. We do not permit sleeping in cars and security will ask you to leave the car park.
Do you have to transfer your reading ticket?
You don’t need to use Ticket Transfer if you just have one ticket and it’s already in your Ticketmaster account ready to show at the gates.
Is reselling festival tickets illegal?
Visit your club’s website to see if they have an agreement or their own scheme in place. ‘Touting’ or selling tickets on the roadside is illegal unless you have a street vendor’s licence. In some cases, civil proceedings can be brought against you if reselling breaks your ticket’s terms and conditions.
Can you resell tickets that were transferred to you?
If the tickets were transferred to you, you’ll need to transfer them back to the original purchaser (i.e., the person who purchased the tickets at issue directly from Ticketmaster or Live Nation) in order for them to take advantage of whatever options the Event Organizer is providing for that event.

Can you give tickets to someone else Ticketmaster?
How do I transfer a ticket? In your Ticketmaster account just select your ticket and choose the option ‘Transfer Your Tickets’. Add in the details of the person receiving the tickets, and you’re done!
