Can you take gas stoves to Leeds Fest?
All gas canisters of any size (including nitrous oxide). If it is a portable stove with gas canister built in, then just dispose of the gas canister and return the stove. Animals (other than registered hearing dogs or guide dogs).
Can you take water into Reading Festival?
Only food for personal consumption can be brought into the Arena. We only allow sealed water under 500ml, as well as empty reusable plastic and metal bottles of any size into the Arena. Please refill your empty bottles at the water points inside the Arena for free.
Can you take your own drink to Reading Festival?
5. You can’t take drinks into the arena. Whilst you can take alcohol onto the campsite, you can’t take drinks into the arena. Reading Festival only allows sealed soft drinks under 500ml, as well as reusable bottles when you see the acts.

The festival will operate a gate review policy with drug dogs searching people at all entrance gates. Anyone found attempting to bring drugs into the site may be refused entry.
Can you take a camping stove to a festival?
It is very dangerous to inhale nitrous oxide directly from the canister and if you take too much nitrous oxide you risk falling unconscious and/or suffocating from the lack of oxygen. No Disposable BBQ’s – Visitors are permitted to bring small portable camping stoves.

Are there sniffer dogs at Leeds Festival?
We work very closely with West Yorkshire Police and members of the security services to ensure our security procedures are up to date and we are following best practice. We put a lot of time and effort on briefing and training and run emergency exercises. We also have a team of sniffer dogs working around the clock.
How many beers can you take into reading?
There is a limit of 24 cans and a 1 litre plastic bottle of spirit or wine per person. Any alcohol in glass bottles must be decanted into plastic bottles. Cans can be mixed (e.g. 12 cider and 12 lager) and they may be loose (not in a crate) but must not exceed 24. Also, kegs are a strict no no.
How do you shower at Reading Festival?
Showers. If you’re at the festival for the whole weekend and need a proper wash, there are showers dotted around the campsites in case you didn’t book the luxury camping. The white, yellow, guest and disabled access camping areas normally have showers, but beware of queues.
Can you take spray deodorant to Reading Festival?

Can I wear jeans to a festival?
Shorts, jeans, jackets and shirts, they’re all welcome at festivals and make an easy go-to if you’re unsure what to wear but stil want to look cool.
Is food expensive at Reading Festival?
So, expect to spend anywhere between £60 and £80 on food per day. You can bring down that cost by carrying as many allowed food items with you. For example, water bottles are not allowed on site but you can bring beer, soda, and wine. Any music festival is incomplete unless you pick a band or festival T-shirt.
Do you need cash for Reading Festival?
Cash payments are NOT accepted at the Guest Check-In. You can use debit/credit cards or apps on your phone, such as Google Pay and Apple pay.
What is banned from Reading Festival?
Some of the items that are not allowed at the event: Flares and fireworks – possession will lead to being removed from the festival and could result in 3 months in prison and/or a fine, according to the festival website. Firewood won’t be allowed into the campsites.
What happens if you get caught with drugs at Reading Festival?
If you are found in possession of drugs you may be arrested and are liable to prosecution and/or may not be allowed to go into the festival. If you are found with drugs once on site, you may be ejected and/or arrested. If you are prosecuted for a drugs offence, you will get a criminal record.
Can sniffer dogs smell Coke?
Most sniffer dogs can be trained to pick up the smell of marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, opiates, ecstasy and LSD.
What is the security like at Reading Festival?
The whole site is monitored throughout by staff on the ground along with an extensive CCTV system watched round the clock by a team of monitors in a fully staffed Event Control.
Can you take stoves to festivals?
Festivals don’t generally allow BBQs on the campsite but most will permit a stove as long as it is raised off the ground. We take very little cooking equipment with us when we go to a festival – just our gas stove and a couple of pans so that we can make hot drinks and bacon sandwiches for breakfast.
