Why can’t air ambulance fly at night?
We’re often asked why we don’t fly at night. The reason for this is the risks of landing in a built up city like London are far greater at night as wires and debris may not be seen as clearly. So we operate from our rapid response cars after sunset which contain the same life-saving equipment as the aircraft.
