Do you wear shoes at a waterpark?
Wearing shoes poolside, when you are walking around in between rides, is actually recommended. Because the surface around the rides can become wet and slippery, Atlantis suggests wearing shoes to give yourself better traction when walking than you’ll have when barefoot.
Can you wear shoes on water rides?
In order to be able to wear your shoes on the slides and other water attractions, you need to make sure they don’t have any metal buckles or fasteners, and you need to make sure they are secure on your feet (unlike flip flops which can easily fall off).
Do we need to bring towels to Water Country USA?

Can I wear a shirt at Water Country?
Yes. They do not make you remove swim shirts on any of the slides like they do at Wet & Wild.
Is Quick Queue worth it at Water Country USA?
The second time we went, we purchased the quick queue, with a credit card, as soon as we entered the park. I think it was $17 pp. Very worthwhile. You bypass all the lines.
Is Water Country USA cashless?
Cash. Cash must be presented upfront when setting up an account. However, spending the entire amount is not required to and more dollars may be added throughout the day if necessary. Visit Guest Relations upon exit to collect any unspent money.

Our 23,000 square-foot pool gradually reaches 8 feet deep. So grab a life vest or brave the waves on your own as the surf starts crashing every 10 minutes with cycles of four-foot waves that last 8 minutes.
Does Water Country USA close when it rains?
Water Country remains open during inclement weather, although some of the parks rides and attractions may be temporarily affected. Refunds and rain checks will not be issued due to inclement weather.
How much does it cost to park at Water Country USA?
Available in designated spots of the Preferred Parking lot. Vehicle must have a State-issued Parking placard or License plate. Parking fee is $10 per designated vehicle; guests can purchase the General Parking pass online or pay at the park.
Can you bring your own life jacket to Water Country USA?
Water Country rents Life Jackets on a first come, first serve basis throughout the park. Guests under 48″ are required to wear a lifejacket when entering all pools and attractions. Guests may bring their own, U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets.

What kind of shoes do you wear at a water park?

At least with flip flops you can get a good grip on the straps (as it were) rather than normal shoes or wet/surf shoes which you might not be able to hold on to so easily. We bought those slip on rubber soled type of beach shoes for the waterparks.
