We allow free travel to passholders of the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme on our buses. We run buses all over Lancashire, Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, and the times you can use your pass are slightly different for each area.

Does the coastliner accept card?
Our drivers carry cash to give change but not large amounts, so please try and keep to paying in coins and small notes. Alternatively, you can use your contactless debit or credit card, smart phone or smart watch using Apple Pay or Android Pay to pay for your fare. All of our buses accept contactless payments.
How do you pay for the bus in Yorkshire?

If you’re using a pass, such as a concessionary pass, place it on the ‘target’ on the driver’s ticket machine. Make sure it’s the right way up, so the driver can see your photo.
Can I use someone else’s bus card?
No. That bus pass is for THAT person. The person who paid for the bus pass. For you to use a bus pass that has been paid for by someone else amounts to theft.

Do Airports let you pay in cash?

Cash is not accepted as a form of payment in our U.S. airport locations. Most of our domestic airport lobbies feature ReadySTATION kiosks. If you wish to pay for flights, fees or services, you can convert cash to a prepaid debit card at a ReadySTATION kiosk for a fee of $5.
