Can dogs go on sandbanks?
Dogs. There is a designated all year-round dog friendly beach area at the western end of Sandbanks beach to Haven Point (near the chain ferry). From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on Sandbanks main beach and must be kept on a lead on the promenade and paths. Remember to pick up after your dog.

We do not allow any animals to be brought into the Oceanarium except guide dogs or ADUK registered assistance dogs. For health and safety reasons, we can only accommodate a maximum of one dog per customer. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout their visit.
