“In” for Location. Deciding which word you should be using comes down to a question of where. “At” is used when you are at the top, bottom or end of something; at a specific address; at a general location; and at a point. “In” is used in a space, small vehicle, water, neighborhood, city and country.
Are you located at or in?
“Located in” is used when one is referring to a larger space, and “located at” to a smsller one. I am located in Mumbai, at Dadar. I am located in Dadar, at 255, JJ Road.
Are you in or at a city?

You can work “at” or “for” a company. You work “in” a sector or profession.

‘In the office’ and ‘at the office’ are both correct and can be used but each of them must be used in certain contexts. ‘In the office’ is used to refer to the physical presence in a workplace and ‘at the office’ is used to refer to the idea of someone’s workplace.
