How much does it cost to join The Ned?
A membership at The Ned grants access to members-only bars and restaurants, as well events at the property. A Membership at The Ned costs $5,000 a year and existing members of Soho House can apply at a reduced rate of $2,500 a year. Room rates start at $875 a night.
Is there a dress code for The Ned?
The Ned does not have a strict dress code but for dining in our restaurants we would suggest smart casual attire.
Is The Ned membership worth it?
Membership at The Ned costs a hefty £3,500 a year, so what’s it worth? Membership gets you access to the rooftop with its own restaurant, pool, terrace and epic views of St Paul’s Cathedral. The food was undoubtedly better than Soho House and the terrace is around four times the size of Shoreditch House.

Can you walk into The Ned?
Members are not permitted to bring guests to Ned’s Club Gym or Ned’s Club Spa. A member’s guest may not enter any Club area without that member present. Members may not be separated from their guests within NED’S CLUB or allow their guests to remain in the Club when they leave.
How hard is it to get a membership at The Ned?
Ned Friends membership costs £250 annually or £25 per month. Membership requirements: New Ned’s Club members need two existing members to propose their admittance. The Membership Committee meet quarterly and admits new members when space is available.
Who owns The Ned London?
Five years later, in 2012, Ron Burkle fell in love with the space and saw an opportunity to create a new approach to hospitality. He set about transforming the building into The Ned.
How do you get approved for Soho House?
You have to fill in an application form and submit a one-time entry fee. In addition to it, you have to get a recommendation letter for any of the Soho House members. Capital is not as such a proper timing factor. In NYC, the joining fee is $2,100 and $3,200 to have access to the other Soho Houses.
Can you drink in The Ned without membership?
Every one of The Ned restaurants and bars. There are a total of eight restaurants at The Ned that are open to the public, as well as two bars. Hotel guests and club members have access to a further two bars and a fine-dining restaurant.

There’s a desk where you sign in. Lovely place so I thought I’d take a photo for tripadvisor, This woman says “Sorry, sir, no photos allowed in the club.”
Why is The Ned called The Ned?
The Ned is named after the original building’s architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens. When Lutyens got married, he started signing his name NEd, with a capital E as well as a capital N, because his wife, a dotty aristocrat whom he doted on, was called Emily.
Can guests use the rooftop pool at The Ned?
The spa, gym and basement pool areas are just for adults at all times. Children can use the rooftop pool between 7am and 10am daily. A complimentary children’s menu is served daily between 5pm and 6pm in Millie’s Lounge, for children under the age of six.

Access to Annabel’s is strictly membership only and typically there is a waiting list of people waiting to get membership approval. Any membership application requires a letter of support from a current member. The price of membership starts at £3250 per year plus a £1250 joining fee.
