How can I board my train with E-ticket?
When you get to the station, open our app and go to ‘My Tickets’. Then scan the eTicket QR code above the reader to open the ticket gate. Screenshots of eTickets can’t be used to travel. In the unlikely event that your eTicket isn’t working at the gate, show it to our station staff and they’ll help you.

No, please do not screenshot your e-ticket as the QR code may be blurred or not sufficiently accurate to scan.
Can you scan e-tickets off your phone?
You can show your E-tickets on your phone, as long as the barcode is clearly visible on entry. Please turn the brightness on your device up to ensure easy scanning of the barcode.
How do you use Eticket trains?
Scan your ticket on the barcode reader at the gate line, or present to rail staff when requested. mTickets are barcode tickets that are stored in your app and require activation before you travel. To activate your ticket, tap activate in the app and your ticket will be ready for use.
Can I use Amtrak e-ticket?
If you booked it on Amtrak.com and have not started any part of your journey, you can modify your reservation on Amtrak.com; otherwise, you can modify it over the phone at 800-USA-RAIL or speak to a ticket agent at the station.
Is an e-ticket receipt a ticket?
An e-ticket is nothing more than a reservation in an airline’s computer system, one that advises them you have a ticketed seat confirmed on a particular flight. When you’re issued an e-ticket there’s also an e-ticket receipt that’s printed out afterward.
Can you show your plane ticket on your phone?
You can use your mobile boarding pass at most airports. Can you fly with an e-ticket?

Can I show my e-ticket on my phone airport?
If you’ve received your boarding pass or e-ticket barcode in an email, you can simply use this at the airport. No additional apps needed. Apple and Google both offer their own respective apps that collect e-tickets and boarding passes from a variety of companies all in one place.
Should my e-ticket have a QR code?
