All riders in the RideLondon-Essex 30, 60 and 100 events have eight-and-a-half hours to complete their ride from the departure of the last start wave. We expect the final participants to finish at 18:00.

Is RideLondon difficult?

Is London 2022 a hilly ride?
The roads are very flat, so will serve as a good warm up before the real action begins. You’ll wind out past the Tower of London and Canary Wharf, before turning north to Stratford. This is the only bit of the route that is the same as the Surrey route, so many will have ridden these roads before.
Can you ride a TT bike in RideLondon?

Should you ride the day before a century ride?

How long should my long rides be?
In terms of a plan, do at least two days of work on your FTP each week and one long ride per week. Twice a month, your long ride should be at least 15% longer than your longest ride from the previous month until you reach 20% more than your target race/event time.
Can I cycle 100 miles without training?

For me the difference over 10 miles on a flattish course was about one minute. At the time, on that course, I was able to do about 22.45ish on the TT bike and about 23.45ish on a road bike. This all depends on your riding position.
