I absolutely loved my day at Madame Tussaud’s. Having always wanted to visit here I found it even better than I expected. From the well managed queue at the beginning I was worried that the place would be packed but once you are inside you get chance to see everything and aren’t rushed around.

We advise guests that it can take between 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete the full Tower Eye experience. This is dependant on any queues for the Tower Eye and once up at the top you can spend as long as you like up there!

You dont have to pay to watch the dancers in the Tower Ballroom. Dancing is daily and you can experience the ambience and elegance of this amazing ballroom. Admission is free throughout the year. Just pay if you want to experience the Tower attractions.
Why can’t you photograph the Mona Lisa?
Assuming there are no rules against it, there would be no problem with taking a photo of the Mona Lisa. Most likely, they do not allow flash photography because the flash can harm the painting. You’d have to check with the Louvre on this. BUT… even then, it’s not “illegal” but against museum rules.
