Can you use other college libraries Cambridge?
There are more than 100 libraries within the University. Of these, you will generally be able to use your college library, your faculty or departmental library, and the University Library (the UL).
Can alumni use the Cambridge library?
All alumni are able to access the main University Library for free.
How do I get a Cambridge library card?
You may obtain a library card by presenting a photo ID with your current local address in Massachusetts, OR a photo ID plus one document with your name and current local address printed on it. Can the public walk around Cambridge University?
You are very very limited in where you can walk to even see the exteriors and can’t go in to any of the buildings and most don’t let you even walk around outside in the courtyard. While the University itself was disappointing, Cambridge is still worth a visit. Loved the punt tour and the pubs are awesome.

Library access can be provided to any individual upon establishing a research need and presenting the required forms of identity. Applicants must normally be over 18 years of age at the time they are applying in order to be considered for a Bodleian Reader card.
How many books can I borrow Cambridge?
The maximum is 50. You have reached the maximum number of overdue requested returns ie the items you have out have been requested to be returned for another borrower, you have failed to bring them back on time and they have gone overdue. Once you have two overdue books you have failed to bring back you will be blocked.
