Exam boards are organisations that offer qualifications to students, and it’s their job to produce exam papers, mark your work and award your grade. For school exams, we work with mainly two exam boards: Cambridge International Examinations and Pearson Edexcel. So how do you choose between them?
Is Cambridge OCR or AQA?
OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA) is a leading UK awarding body. We provide GCSEs and A Levels in over 40 subjects and offer over 100 vocational qualifications.
Is GCSE Cambridge or Edexcel?
Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) offers GCSEs and A-levels etc while Edexcel is a subsidiary of the publisher Pearson, and offers IGCSEs alongside the full range of UK qualifications. They are both respected bodies with equal value for their qualification in the UK.
