Travelling along the M6toll heading further afield northbound or southbound? Pay at one of two mainline toll plazas. Southbound motorists will pass through our Weeford Park toll plaza, located between junctions T4 & T3. Northbound motorists will go through our Great Wyrley toll plaza between junctions T6 & T7.

If the toll charge has not been paid within 2 working days of the date of travel our internal administration costs of £70 including vat will be added to the original toll charge. A letter will be posted to the vehicle keeper using the contact details supplied by the DVLA.

On the approach to the toll plaza (the wider road area with the choice of lanes and machines), unless you have a TAG, you need to select a non-TAG lane. The M6 will be closed to southbound drivers for three nights while a 10-mile section of the motorway is upgraded to an ‘all-lane running’ smart motorway. National Highways will be starting to install gantries between junctions 23 (Haydock Island) and 26 (Orrell Interchange) of the M6 this month (September 2022).
Is junction 19 closed on the M6?
