What channel is the Red Button on?
You’ll find the red button programmes on channel 527 (BT Sport Extra). They should also show up in your programme searches, or if you filter on ‘Sport’.

Why can’t I get the Red Button on my TV?
It’s possible that your television does not have the technology (MHEG) to support Red Button. This is more common on newer devices. If this is the situation for you, Connected Red Button will be the only option, and the television would need to be connected to the internet.
Does BBC Red Button still exist?
‘Cost and complexity’ Local, national and international news will now remain on the red button, along with the sports news headlines, fixtures and results; and weather forecast. Yet from mid-2021, features like the lottery results and in-depth sport stories, for example, will no longer feature.

You can check the online red button schedule or use the EPG on your television and look for the BBC Red Button 1 channel:

To open. When you see a red button symbol on screen. press the red button on your Sky Q remote or the button with the four coloured dots on your Sky Glass or Sky Stream remote. Your Sky Glass or Sky Stream remote will know you selected the red button when the red button symbol is on screen.

A few other broadcasters, including ITV, offer a limited range. The Red Button graphic can be removed from your screen by one simple action, dependent on the platform you are watching on: Sky – Press the BACK UP button.
How do I watch Red TV on my smart TV?
You go into your web browser. Log into RedTV (or RedTV International / Pay-per-view) – you may need to select a different stream for the AirPlay icon to appear. Select the AirPlay icon in the video feed (see the video below) and select your TV or Apple TV device from the list that appears.
Information about the red button
If there’s a grey dot on screen when watching Sky Sports, there is currently no Red Button service. The majority of red button content on Sky Q requires an active broadband connection, even if it’s not being used. If it’s not active, you’ll get a loading message.

How do I watch sport on BBC Red Button?
