Derby sits in the centre of England and it is close to the M1 and M6 motorways, as well as being within easy reach of East Midlands Airport. By train, you can get to London in 90 minutes or to Birmingham in 35 minutes. Our Derby Campus is home to the majority of our courses and it is made up of four sites.
How many campuses does Derby university have?

Can you drink alcohol in a uni library?
Hot and cold drinks are permitted provided they are in spill-proof containers, cartons, cans or bottles. Alcohol cannot be consumed in any of the library buildings.

Open Library is free and open to anyone. Some features require that you have an Open Library account. You can borrow books from the Internet Archive collections.
Can you sleep in university library?
Many libraries do allow people to sleep during hours the building is open, as long as they’re quiet and respectful and don’t disturb other patrons with loud snoring, Policies vary, though, and some libraries don’t allow it. Hard to enforce, unless someone complains.
