Long Point offers an off-leash dog exercise/beach area located at the west end of the day-use beach, in the New Park area. It is important to remember that dogs must be controlled by their owner at all times and must be kept on a leash in any other area of the park.

Yes, your dog must be muzzled and on a lead whenever they are outside their owner’s vehicle, during check-in and during any transfers on board e.g. between the car decks and your pet-friendly cabin or kennels and between the pet-friendly cabin/kennel and the pet exercise area.
How do I cross the Channel with my dog?
The only way is by car. This taxi company does take pets through the tunnel but it is not cheap. we went through this a few months ago. The Dieppe-Newhaven route did allow foot passengers to take dogs but I think they had to be left in kennels on the car deck during the crossing.
