Can I use my bus pass anywhere in Scotland?
Your National Entitlement Card gives you free travel throughout Scotland on nearly all local registered and long-distance scheduled bus services. Only a few services, such as premium-fare night buses and City Sightseeing buses, do not accept the card.

Can you use your bus pass on trains in Scotland?
Rail and bus tickets allow you to book train and bus travel together, making it easier to travel to far-flung places and get about town. There are two main options for travel across Scotland: PLUSBUS, a bus pass to go along with your train ticket; and RailBus, which gives you a single ticket to a specific destination.
Can I use my bus pass on the underground?
You can also use your pass in London on buses bearing the Transport for London roundel logo (you cannot use your pass on the Underground, DLR, Trams or non Transport for London buses).
Can I use my Scottish bus pass to travel to England?
Card holders can travel at any time of day for any number of journeys on registered local buses and long distance scheduled coach services throughout Scotland. NECs are not valid for travel on bus services in England or any other part of the UK except limited cross border travel to Berwick-upon-Tweed and Carlisle.
Are bus passes issued in England valid in Scotland?
Your bus pass is valid for use on all registered Bus services within England, so if you are visiting other places you should be able to use your pass. It is not valid in Wales* or Scotland.
Can I use my bus pass issued in England in Scotland?
No. English bus passes are not accepted in Scotland and vice versa. Only passes issued by City of Edinburgh Council work on the trams as they’re funded by the council.

If you stay in London for 6–7 days and use the underground, trains, and buses every day, the weekly Travelcard is the most cost-effective travel pass. The one-week pass including central London (zones 1-2) is £38.40. It’s valid for travel at anytime; there is no peak or off-peak rate.
