Can you still drive through Knowsley Safari Park?

Our answer is always yes. The animals have access to the safari drive or their shelters and you can still see them even in the rain. Occasionally we can have excessive rainfall that can cause flooding of some paths. This is often a short term problem and when this happens we will close any effected areas.

At Knowsley Safari, we have two Amur tigers who live in the Tiger Trail on the Foot Safari. Sinda arrived in the park in 2010 followed by Miron in 2020 as part of a European breeding programme. The current Amur Tiger population is around 540 as the demand for tiger parts has pushed them to the brink of extinction.

Worried about car damage at Knowsley Safari? We don’t blame you, our baboons love to get up to mischief. If you stick to the rules of the safari drive, our animals are highly unlikely to cause any significant damage as they are so used to cars in the safari.
