No, our monkeys are wild animals and out of respect for the monkeys you cannot touch or feed them. Please read the park rules before entering the park on your visit.
Can I go safari park without a car?
Yes, you can, but you will need to be in a vehicle to travel around the Safari Drive-through. If you don’t have your own car, you can book onto a Guided Minibus Tour. Seats are an extra £7.00 per person and you can book seats online in advance when booking admission tickets.

Our answer is always yes. The animals have access to the safari drive or their shelters and you can still see them even in the rain. Occasionally we can have excessive rainfall that can cause flooding of some paths.
How do I keep monkeys off my car?
I would suggest you use any ordinary cover to cover the car. Above this, you can put a waterproof, thick plastic sheet (available in rates per metre) normally used by hawkers/slum dwellers to protect themselves from the weather. Hence there will be two covers above the car.
What to do if a monkey is chasing you?
Do not run away or show fear – this will just tell the monkey that you are inferior and their aggression could intensify. Back away slowly, don’t turn your back on the monkey but do avoid making eye contact. Show the monkey that you are not holding anything in your hands.

- Contain your fear as best as possible.
- Don’t scream.
- Don’t try to fight the monkey or push it off.
- Walk calmly away. The monkey will eventually let go and leave you alone.
