Can I walk around Knowsley Safari Park?
Knowsley Foot Safari offers everything you need for a wild day out! We have walking trails through woodlands and Tiger enclosures, animal habitats, rides and amusements for every age, and play areas and animal displays to keep your little ones entertained all day long.
Can I go safari park without a car?
Yes, you can, but you will need to be in a vehicle to travel around the Safari Drive-through. If you don’t have your own car, you can book onto a Guided Minibus Tour. Seats are an extra £7.00 per person and you can book seats online in advance when booking admission tickets.
Can you bring your own food to the safari park?
Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own single-person food, in small containers, into our parks.
Do the animals come out in the rain at Knowsley Safari Park?
Our answer is always yes. The animals have access to the safari drive or their shelters and you can still see them even in the rain. Occasionally we can have excessive rainfall that can cause flooding of some paths.

An African safari costs anywhere between $125 and $1,500 per person per night. A budget safari averages $150 per night, mid-range $350 and luxury $750. The extreme top-safaris can easily go up to $1,500 per night, or more!
Can you pay on the door at Safari Park?
Book tickets online or pay on arrival at the gate! Open Thursday to Sunday only from 14th November. Opening hours are 9.30am to 4pm, with the last entry to the Park and Road Safari at 3pm. (During these shorter days the last ticket available to book online is at 12.30pm.
Can you bring water bottles into the Safari Park?
Yes, you may take food and drink into the park. They do no allow large coolers and provide no location to store a cooler.
What do you wear to Safari Park?
A) T-shirt, shirt or blouse – long sleeves and collars help to protect from the sun and mosquitoes. B) Fleece or warm jacket. C) A pair of safari trousers – those that zip off at the knees are very handy, too. D) Comfortable walking shoes (or boots) and socks.

Follow the signs east to the Park. Parking fee is $15 per vehicle; $20 for RV parking. Preferred parking is once again available on select weekends and holidays, weather and attendance permitting.

You have the option of going through the chimp enclosure or by-passing it. Choose the by-pass route then you can wet yourself laughing at the chimps pulling wipers/ariels/wing mirrors off other cars instead of yours!
