Camping stove, cooking utensils and cutlery Greenheat Base Camp Cookers, solid fuel and firelighter stoves, disposable BBQs and Trangia spirit burners are all permitted for use on the campsite at Leeds Festival, so be sure to take along some food you can easily whip up at your base.

What can you not take to Leeds Festival?
Leeds Festival does not condone the use of drugs. It is illegal to buy, sell or take drugs. Drugs enforcement laws are as applicable onsite as anywhere else in the UK but we want our festival goers to know above all else that you can come to us for help without fear of getting in trouble at any time.
What can I bring to Leeds Fest?

- Your festival ticket. I’m not sure there’s a worse feeling than turning up at Leeds Festival after an eight-hour journey to realise you’ve left your ticket at home.
- Bank cards and cash.
- Tent.
- Sleeping bag.
- Self-inflating roll mat.
- A proper rucksack.
- Reusable water bottles.
- A sturdy trolley.
Can you take disposable BBQ to Leeds?
While it is perfectly legal to have BBQs on some beaches, a lot of local councils are now implementing their own rules that mean you cannot use disposable BBQs. Having a single-use disposable BBQ on beaches where they are prohibited could see you landing a £100 fine and it being confiscated.
Can you take gas stove to festivals?
Don’t bring your barbecue or stove into the tent even after you have finished cooking and the barbecue is cooling down as it can still release harmful carbon monoxide that you definitely don’t want to be inhaling. It’s always best to leave barbecues outside, whether you’re cooking on them or not.
Are you allowed camping stoves at festivals?

Is there sniffer dogs at Leeds Fest?

Can you take a vape to Leeds Fest?
At Reading and Leeds, festival-goers can bring cigarettes for personal use into both the campsite and arenas, while e-cigarettes are also allowed.
How much drink can you take to Leeds Fest?
You are allowed to bring soft drinks/water with you (of not more than 500ml per bottle), as long as these are unopened/sealed when you arrive. Anything considered open will be confiscated on the gate.
Can you take a bottle of water into Leeds Arena?
Food and drinks cannot be brought into the venue unfortunately.
Is Leeds Fest 2022 cashless?
Furthermore, Leeds Festival 2022 is a cashless event – so make sure you bring your card.
Can you sleep in the car Leeds Fest?
No vehicles are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time. The designated campervan/caravan area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles. We do not permit sleeping in cars and security will ask you to leave the car park.
Can you get boiling water at Leeds Festival?
The food at the festival is expensive so we would recommend that you bring your own. We have cooking facilities in the Cloud Hub for making toasties and there is also hot water, a fridge and a microwave.
What bin does a disposable BBQ go in?
Do not dispose of them in the recycling bin, as they cannot be recycled. Once completely cold, they should be placed in the household waste bin. Care should be taken when using disposable BBQs in the countryside. Never leave them unattended and make sure they are fully out and have gone completely cold after use.
Do you need ID to get into Leeds Festival?
All guests must go to the Guest Check-in in person to collect their wristband/pass. Please remember to bring valid PHOTO ID – it is compulsory for your entry into the event. A copy or photo is acceptable. Important note: Weekend Guests will then need to drive to the Guest campsite / Car park.
Can you use a stove in a normal tent?
Using a stove in your tent is known as ‘Hot Tenting’, and believe me, a good stove can make your tent very warm. However, you can’t put a stove in just any tent. The tent will typically need to be canvas or polycotton and have an opening for the hot flue pipe (the ‘chimney’).
Can you take gas cookers to download festival?
NO GAS canisters or petrol fuelled cookers will be allowed anywhere on site. There will be no exception to this rule, anyone found using gas may be asked to leave site! Alternatively please use one of the following: solid fuel/Hexi stoves, gel stoves, green base camp cooker and firelighter stoves.
Can I use stove in tent?
Any sort of flame inside a tent is a huge fire risk. The limited ventilation inside a tent mean gas fumes will build up quickly leading to a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and explosion. Keep your stove away from your tent and always follow the safety instructions.
Can you bring a camping stove?
Camp stoves are allowed in carry-on or checked bags only if they are empty of all fuel and cleaned so that no fuel vapors or residue remain.
Can you cook at a festival?
Cooking at a music festival may not be super easy, but with basic ingredients/tools, you can still make some decent meals. And be sure to check out the food vans at least once, you’re sure to find something great.
