Leeds Festival does not condone the use of drugs. It is illegal to buy, sell or take drugs. Drugs enforcement laws are as applicable onsite as anywhere else in the UK but we want our festival goers to know above all else that you can come to us for help without fear of getting in trouble at any time.
Is there sniffer dogs at Leeds Fest?
We put a lot of time and effort on briefing and training and run emergency exercises. We also have a team of sniffer dogs working around the clock.

Can you take a vape to Leeds Fest?
At Reading and Leeds, festival-goers can bring cigarettes for personal use into both the campsite and arenas, while e-cigarettes are also allowed.
Can you take medication into festivals?
Remember to bring any regular medications you might need (for example inhalers or epi pens). If you take regular medication that must be kept in a fridge (for example insulin), check with your festival before you go whether their medical team can store this for you.
Do they check your bags at Leeds Fest?
We strongly advise you do not bring a bag into the Arena as there will be long queues while all bags are searched. If you do wish to bring a bag into the Arena please ensure that it is no bigger than A4 sized 8.27”x11. 69”. There is a limited to one A4 sized bag per person permitted into the Arena.
Can sniffer dogs smell drugs inside you?
A dog’s sense of smell is believed to be 10,000 to 100,000 times better than that of a human, which means a well-trained detection dog will likely smell through your attempts at concealing drugs.
What happens if you are found with drugs at a festival?
Understanding The Law
If you are found in possession of drugs you may be arrested and are liable to prosecution and/or may not be allowed to go into the festival. If you are found with drugs once on site, you may be ejected and/or arrested. If you are prosecuted for a drugs offence, you will get a criminal record.
How strict is Leeds Fest security?

Can under 18 take alcohol into Leeds Festival?
Afraid not, over 18s can bring alcohol for personal consumption into the campsites as long as this is decanted into plastic bottles. Glass is not allowed in the campsites or Main Arena.
Can you bring disposable Vapes to a festival?
Many people find they vape more when on holiday or at a festival, so it’s a good idea to bring more than you think you will need just in case. Whether you are using disposables or your usual vape kit, there is no harm in bringing an extra disposable or a spare coil.
How much drink can you take to Leeds Fest?
You are allowed to bring soft drinks/water with you (of not more than 500ml per bottle), as long as these are unopened/sealed when you arrive. Anything considered open will be confiscated on the gate.
Can you take Vapes into festivals?
At most festivals the rules around vaping are the same as smoking (1). While outdoor festivals are generally pretty vaping friendly, smoking and the use of e-cigarettes and vapes isn’t allowed in public spaces or buildings. This usually includes inside the arenas.
Can you bring ibuprofen to a festival?

Make sure to add plenty of pain relief to your festival first aid kit to keep aches and pains at bay. This includes: Ibuprofen or paracetamol.
Are drugs allowed at Glastonbury?

What happens if you get caught with drugs at Creamfields?

If you are found to be in possession of controlled drugs, new psychoactive substances or weapons, you are liable to prosecution. The possession of any amount of a controlled drug is a criminal offence and the supply of a controlled drug is an even more serious offence.
Can you sleep in the car Leeds Fest?
No vehicles are to be parked in the fire lanes at any time. The designated campervan/caravan area of the site is the only place where ticket holders can sleep in vehicles. We do not permit sleeping in cars and security will ask you to leave the car park.
Does Leeds Festival require ID?
All guests must go to the Guest Check-in in person to collect their wristband/pass. Please remember to bring valid PHOTO ID – it is compulsory for your entry into the event. A copy or photo is acceptable. Important note: Weekend Guests will then need to drive to the Guest campsite / Car park.
Can 16 year olds camp at Leeds Fest?
All Under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying adult ticket holder (aged over 18.) This adult must remain on site throughout the whole weekend as the guardian of the under 16-year-old. Under 13’s (12 years and under) are admitted free but must be accompanied by a paying ticket-holder over 18 at all times.
Do drug dogs sit when they smell drugs?
Sniffer dogs alert their handler to the presence of the scent in different ways. Drug sniffer dogs and those trained to smell fresh fruit at airports could paw at the spot they smell something. Bomb-sniffing dogs, on the other hand, will sit passively.
