Does E-ticket need to be printed in train?
In the case of tickets booked online, one may not need to carry a hard copy or a printout of the ticket although it is normally advised to carry one. In most cases, a soft copy of the ticket, or a message sent by IRCTC on your mobile with the coach and berth number, will suffice.
Can you print e-ticket at station?
You will receive a print-at-home e-ticket which is attached as a PDF file in your confirmation email. You must either: Print it yourself on A4 or letter sized paper; Print it from a Renfe ticket machine at a station, no later than 15 minutes before departure, using your booking reference.

Does e-ticket need barcode?
It uses a unique and different barcode for each ticket. Each e-ticket is scanned at the entrance to the room and its validity is checked using the unique bar code printed on each ticket. Presentation of your e-tickets at the entrance of the venue is mandatory.
