The London Eye is one of London’s most popular attractions and at peak times queues are lengthy. If you just turn up on the day you will pay more for your ticket and how long you will have to wait will depend on when the next availability is and the ticket type you select.

How far in advance do you need to book London Eye?
As for the London Eye, we have been many times and have been able to book good tickets a day in advance, but to be on the safe side, 2-3 days should be ample, however, if the date you wish to go is a weekend or public holiday, the sooner the better. Is it worth getting a fast track ticket for the London Eye?
The fast track ticket will have you waiting in no more than a 15-20 minute line (we only waited about 3 minutes) and considering how long the line can get during peak hours, I’d recommend the fast track for you if you’re at all on a time crunch. Keep in mind that the standard entry queue time can be around 45 minutes.
